These shots are from the 2012 New Market Sportsman Club Annual Ice Fishing Contest.  It is held every year on Carl’s Lake in Scott County Minnesota.  This year, the ice was really thin (only around 12″), there was no snow on the ice so everything was very slippery, and the wind was a little bit of a issue.   Nothing we couldn’t handle.  I have been a member of the Sportsman Club since i was a little kid, so I have been going to this for years!
