Excelsior Brewing Company Shattered Solstice Ale Review

My latest Sampling in my “Moving on from Coors” series is from probably my favorite brewery in Minnesota, Excelsior Brewing. I have been buying their Sampler packs lately and I love it.

The beer I started with from the Sampler pack was their “Shattered” Solstice Ale.

I love this beer.  It is a Amber Ale with a awesome mix of Ginger, Oranges, Coriander, Egyptian Chamomile Flower, and Belgian Candi Sugar.  It is a darker than your average light beer and it is full of flavor.

Awesome fresh out of the fridge ice cold! Not a all day drinker, but for a couple while hanging out grilling or winding down after a long day, it’s perfect.

I can’t remember when I last had a beer. Are you sure I can taste all those flavours? I would love to try it for sure

You can definitely taste the Orange and Ginger combo, some of the others are a little more subtle but this is a great tasting beer! I dug it!
