What a good show. For my first time seeing my fellow Minnesotan, I left feeling very satisfied even though he didn’t really play any of the big Dylan hits. The show was very mellow, laid back and smooth would be my best description. It had a very cool old timey loungey theatre feel to it. They all had these nice classic white suits on and Bob had on his Black one. A cool look. The sound was amazing as always at the Excel. Vocals were crystal clear and the music came through like it was being played on the radio.
Bob came out and he was really all business. He didn’t chit chat with the crowd or make small talk or tell us we are his favorite. He just came out and cranked out song after song moving between his piano and center stage guitar all the time with a grin on his face. They were very hard core about using your phone last night. It was nice seeing a show without a million phones lighting up. Very late 90’s feel to it! I did try to sneak a quick picture off at the very end though!
Such a good show. Glad I could finally check him off my list. Here is the set list he played last night. He even through in some Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennet covers
