This is awesome! It smells good cooking, has a rich deep color, adds a great Stout beer Steak Sauce flavor to any Beef Dish your making. For this experiment, I used a 35K Stout made by Against The Grain Brewing in Louisville Kentucky. The Beer by itself is great and worked perfect for this sauce!
It is very easy to make and I don’t know if I will ever grill beef again without having some of this made to go along with it. Simple Process. Here is what you will need
1 Bottle of your Choice Stout Beer – I used a 35K Stout By Against The Grain Brewing
1 Cup of Ketchup
1/4 Cup of Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder or 2 if you like a little extra kick
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
Take a Medium Pot and add in all the Ingredients. Put it on the stove at a Medium High Heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Once you have a good boil going, reduce the heat to a Simmer and let the mixture reduce to about half of what it is. Whisk it occasionally. When it is ready, it will be a nice smooth looking sauce.
Just pour over your Beef and enjoy! It should keep in the fridge for about a week or so if there is any leftovers!
