The path to my heart is paved in many things, one of things is peanut butter. I’m a nut (no pun intended). If something says peanut butter, I’m probably trying it. Up next was Honees Honees Peanut Butter & Honey Golden Ale from Oliphant Brewing in Somerset WI.

From the minute it was poured, i could smell the hints of honey and peanut butter. It had a great looking golden color and it wasn’t overly carbonated.

It has a real smooth flavor, but if you don’t like peanut butter, you will be disappointed. It has a very distinct flavor. Of all the peanut butter beers I have tried, this one is in the tops for a stronger flavor. I don’t think I could drink more than 1 in a sitting.

This will make a great dessert or after dinner beer!
