The Best Chicken Ever – Philips Airfryer

I recently got one of these Airfryers and I love it! Making all your favorite deep fried foods without the oil is a game changer. I started with the classic frozen food items like motzarella sticks (so awesome), fries, mini corndogs ect. But now I’ve moved on to other things.

I’ve made some Rockin chicken before. Crushed it on the grill, Stovetop and in the oven, but Never have I made chicken this awesome before and so easy. I could of put a piece of KFC or (insert your favorite deli name here) and you would have a hard time choosing which was better! And so easy. Here is what i did

1 Package of Chicken Thighs

4 Eggs

2 Cups of Flour

Old Bay Seasoning

1 TSP Salt

1 TSP Pepper

1 TSP Paprika

Start by pre heating your Airfryer for about 5 minutes. While that is heating up, crack the eggs into a pie plate and whisk them up.

Then take the flour and add in the Salt, pepper, paprika and Old Bay Seasoning. It’s up to you how much Old Bay you use, but I like to add it until the flour gets a nice light pinkish color.

Your going to want to take 4 of your chicken thighs over to the egg and flour. Start by dredging the chicken through the flour, then into the egg, and then back into the flour. Once you have done that to 4 thighs, go ahead and lay them flat in the basket.

Cook at 390 for about 26 minutes. Temp check them but they should be good to go. You’ll be hard pressed to ever make chicken another way!

I also grabbed some Pork Chops and a couple Ribeyes to try out this weekend!

  2. I wasn’t even familiar with air fryers until I saw one in an ad the other day. Brilliant, I thought. I ditched the deep fat fryer years ago. I don’t understand how these work, though.

Do you put them in basket skin side up or down? Do you turn them?
