So, not as good as the chicken, but those were extremely hard shoes to fill. The chicken was so incredibly bitchin! The Pork Chops were good in their own right and with a little bit of tweaking, I’m sure I can get them better. So here is what I did if you want to give it a whirl.
I started by making a batch of fries. This gives me something to nibble on while I make the chops and lets the fryer warm up. I run them at 390 for about 10 minutes.
– Pork Chops
– Some Sort of Beading. I used a Shake and Bake Extra Crispy
– 4 Eggs
Crack the eggs and whip them in a pie plate.
Dump the breading into another pie plate. Dredge the chops in the breading, then the egg, then the breading again until there is a nice coating.
Lay 2 at a time in the fryer. You may have to lay them at angles depending on the size of your chops.
Cook them in the fryer for about 14 minutes flipping once.
I dug them. Nice crispy outside, juicy inside. Not a bad experiment.
